Cards are issued to children after their fifth birthday.

2.      Can I check the library catalog from my home computer?
Yes, the library catalog is available on the Internet at www.clamsnet.org.  Once at that site, you can check library holdings for all Cape and Islands libraries, that are CLAMS members.  You may access your account using your library card number, on the back of your card and a four-digit pin number.

Library circulation staff will ask you to add a pin number to your card one when you register for your card.  If you've forgotten your PIN or never added one before, staff can assist you with that. We send email alerts for items on hold or overdue items.  We also send email reminders of tiems you have out. If you'd like to renew an item, go to your account by following the link in the reminder. If you need staff assistance, use reply and send you question to the staff. If you don't need help, it is not necessary to send a reply to the reminders.

A drop down box gives you a choice of 7 or 14 day loans. Items automatically return when the loan expires but items can not be checked in earlier if you finish them.
