Senior Nutritional Project (DASH) — Wednesday, February 28, 1:00 pm. DASH to a better way of eating! Join Susan Bourque, RD, LDN, Nutrition Educator with Cape Cod Cooperative Extension to learn about the many health benefits of a diet to last a lifetime! Time and time again, research on the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension diet (DASH) has shown the eating plan to be effective in reducing blood pressure. However, it also is in line with recommendations to prevent osteoporosis, cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and even weight gain.
