Floodplain Determination: If you have questions reagarding if your property is affected by a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), you may contact the GIS Department (508-539-1400 x8499, gis@mashpeema.gov). Please contact the Building Department for questions about contructing within the SFHA and ways to mitigate flood hazards.
Elevation Certificates: Copies of Elevation Certificates (EC), for propertires that have had one completed, may be obtained through the Buiding Department.

FEMA Information for Policy Holders
Interactive Town Map Select "Mashpee FEMA FIRM (Unofficial)" or "FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map" layer from the choices on the left. The "Mashpee FEMA FIRM (Unofficial)" is a snapshot taken from the same data as the "FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map" but seperates the AE and VE zone into two differnet colors. The "FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map" combines the VE and AE zones into one color called SFHA or Special Flood Hazard Area. Also, the "FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map" is an layer updated by FEMA, so any information changed by FEMA is reflected in this map layer.
