COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The Community Preservation Committee of the Town of Mashpee hereby gives notice of a Public Hearing to be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Meeting Room of the Mashpee Senior Center, 26 Frank E. Hicks Drive, Mashpee, MA.         

The purpose of said hearing is to conduct a public informational meeting as directed by the Community Preservation Committee Bylaw on the needs, possibilities and resources of the Town of Mashpee as they relate to historic preservation, recreation, affordable housing and open space.

At this hearing, information about application procedures for the funding of projects at the Special and Annual Town Meetings in May of 2023 from the Community Preservation Fund will be provided, and responses to questions from interested parties will be given. 

Also, the Community Preservation Committee will accept any written or oral testimony about needs, possibilities and resources from the public, from interested town departments, boards and committees or from town officials.
