Please be advised that garden plots have been filled for the 2023 season. 

The Committee is now accepting wait list applications ONLY.

Please complete and sign an application and the indemnity/hold harmless agreement and include a $20 check payable to the Town of Mashpee.

Either mail or use the dropbox to the right of Town Hall front door: Attn: Conservation Department. If applying to be on the wait list no check is required.

The charge of the Mashpee Community Garden Advisory Committee (MCGAC) is to:

CREATE a community greenspace and an opportunity for individuals, children, families, and community organizations 
to cultivate gardens for food and flowers and to learn about growing fresh vegetables.

PROVIDE agricultural/horticultural educational programs, activities, and other related community benefits.

MCGAC's first project started in August 2018 with a site cleanup 

Community Preservation Act funding led to garden reconstruction and 20 garden plots in 2019.

In 2022, further funding provided for an additional fourteen garden plots.

Soil improvement continues with on-going wood chips and compost addition.

MCGAC meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7 PM at Town Hall, in the Popponesset Meeting Room 2nd floor and the public is welcome.
