The Town of Mashpee is hosting a Public Visioning Workshop

for the

Santuit Pond Town Landing Site

The Town of Mashpee has received a FY23 Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) grant to help improve the water quality and climate resilience of Santuit Pond, including development of concepts for stormwater improvements and other possible enhancements to the Town Landing site.  The Town of Mashpee is seeking input from the public on how the proposed improvements can be integrated with the community’s overall vision for the site.

We invite you to come to an in-person interactive workshop where the project team consisting of Town staff, climate resilience engineers, and landscape architects will be on hand to hear your thoughts, gather your feedback, and answer your questions about the Town Landing site at Santuit Pond.

There are three ways for you to participate:

Participate in the morning session site walk at Town Landing

Participate in the afternoon interactive session at the Mashpee Town Hall

Participate in an online 5-minute survey to share your thoughts

Morning Session (11:00 AM to 12:00 PM):  Take a stroll along the Town Landing site (117 Timberlane Drive) with the project team to view the existing conditions, share your thoughts for improvements, and learn more about the stormwater enhancements proposed.

Afternoon Session (12:00 to 2:00 PM):  Join the design team for an interactive workshop at Mashpee Town Hall. The design team will have designated stations set up for the public to come and provide their thoughts and feedback on key elements of the site including existing uses and site features, parking and circulation, proposed stormwater improvements, and possible new site amenities and enhancements. A light lunch will be provided.
