The Massachusetts Office of Jury Commissioners has released the 2021 Prospective Juror List, based on an annual listing of Mashpee residents. The presence of a resident's name on the Prospective Juror list does not necessarily mean that person will be issued a juror summons. However, a person cannot be summoned as a juror if their name does not appear on the Prospective Juror List. Certain residents' names will be supressed in any given year for a variety of reasons, such as if they have performed jury service in the last three years, or if they have medical disqualifications. In general, though, all eligible residents will appear on the Prospective Juror List.
Pursuant to MGL c.234A, § 15, this list is a public record that must be made available by the Town Clerk for public inspection. You may view it at the Town Clerk's office on request during business hours.
