MASS DOR Field Inspections are being conducted as of April 14, 2022

Beginning April 14, 2022 a representative from The Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR) is currently conducting the required field inspections and audits of parcels and property records for the Mashpee Assessor’s Office. Every five years these inspections and audits are conducted to verify that the assessors are using correct Mass Appraisal methodology. When they are satisfied that the assessor’s methodology is correct and its values reflect full and fair market value as well as the accuracy of property records, the (DOR) will certify these assessments. 

The Assessors also make annual revisions of property assessments that are then approved by the DOR.
