Please be advised that the Mashpee Board of health has issued a TOWN-WIDE MASK ADVISORY

In consideration of the recent surge in COVID-19 cases throughout Mashpee and the surrounding towns, the Board of Health is issuing an advisory to individuals who live or work in Mashpee, as well as those who frequent business establishments within the town, to continue to protect yourselves and others by wearing a mask in public and when attending any type of gathering.

Regardless of your vaccination status, we urge the public to continue to practice the essential safety measures that have been followed since the onset of the pandemic, which include wearing face coverings while indoors in a public place, social distancing whenever possible, and frequent washing of hands and commonly touched surfaces.

The Board of Health wants to put particular emphasis on this advisory if you have a weakened immune system; if you are at increased risk for severe disease because of your age or an underlying medical condition; or if someone in your household has a weakened immune system, is at increased risk for severe disease, or is unvaccinated.

Together we can stop the spread.
