Mashpee Drop-In Nights are held the first Tuesday of each month at the Community Health Center of Cape Cod, 107 Commercial Street, Mashpee, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.  Drop-In Nights, Modeled after EB HOPE in East Bridgewater is the first of its kind on Cape Cod and brings together sixteen Treatment and Recovery professionals under one roof one night a month.  This is an opportunity for someone struggling with addiction to get immediate help along with family members and friends.  The night is also open for the community at large to learn about the resources available.  There is free Narcan training and light refreshements. This night is open to anyone regardless of what town you live in.  Please stop by and get connected to treatment. Our next Drop-In Night is:

  Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

Mission Statement:  The Mashpee Substance Use Task Force is a multi-disciplinary collaboration designed to promote community awareness of substance use through education, prevention and treatment to build a healthy, safe and drug-free community.

1) Engage the community with our wellness campaign, “It’s Never Too Early…Or too Late” in order to prevent substance use and reduce the stigma associated with addiction.

2) Educate the community about the individual and family treatment options available and connect those in need with treatment providers.

3) Promote the safe disposal of prescription medications in order to decrease access for those struggling with addiction.
