Planning & Construction Committee

The Planning & Construction Committee was established by Section 5-7 of the Mashpee Charter and was first appointed by the Board of Selectmen in August 2005.  The role of the Committee is to oversee capital improvement to the Town's facilities as well as the construction of new buildings.  The Committee works closely with the Department of Public Works, the department responsible for maintenance of all Town facilities per Section 5-8 of the Charter.  Six of the seven members on the Committee are appointed by the Board of Selectmen.  The seventh member is designated by the School Committee.
