Mashpee Public Library Event Room

Following a Community Resilience Building Workshop (November 15, 2019), the Town of Mashpee has developed a Draft Summary of Findings Report under the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) program.  This program provides funding to assist municipalities in planning for climate change and to implement initiatives that reduce vulnerability to climate-related hazards and build resilience in the community.

The Town will conduct a Public Listening Session to review local climate projections, describe priority actions developed during the Community Resilience Building Workshop, and gather public comments.

Please join the Mashpee Planning Department and Woods Hole Group in the Event Room at the Mashpee Public Library on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 6:00 PM to hear about this project and provide feedback to the process.  This is a community-driven climate change planning process that relies on public participation.

Comments may be submitted via email to pmaguffin@mashpeema.gov through 2/28/2020.
Comments will also be collected at the 2/13/2020 Listening Session.
