Mashpee Polar Express Motorcade Coming In December

The Town of Mashpee and Town Manager Rodney C. Collins, in conjunction with the Boys & Girls Club, will be hosting the Polar Express Motorcade December 12 at 4 PM. It will leave the Boys & Girls Club and make its way around town viewing decorated houses and businesses that have registered to be part of the event.

“We feel this will be a fun event that will keep families safe during this pandemic and allow the town to show its holiday spirit,” said Mr. Collins and Jim Kiley, president of the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod.

To register a home or business to be on the viewing route, visit the Boys & Girls of Cape Cod or register at https://conta.cc/3n0GDFU. Registration is free of charge and subject to approval of a final route selection. The organizers ask that business and homes that want to compete for a prize register by November 23, and the final route will be approved by November 25.

The motorcade, which will drive through the town to visit and view the decorated homes and businesses, is also free of charge and will be limited to the 50 automobiles. Register to be in the motorcade at the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod or at https://conta.cc/2JRN93C. Organizers encourage automobiles to accessorize in the holiday spirit and will award local restaurant gift certificates to the best decorated home, business and automobile.
