Public Statement - COVID-19 Coronavirus

Town Facilities Closed until May 4

In an effort to control the spread of this virus that can potentially overburden our health care system, the Town of Mashpee is closing all of its facilities, except essential services such as Police, Fire and DPW, until at least May 4th. The transfer station remains open with regular operational hours with some minor modifications for bulky waste. Public access can still be gained through alternative means. We are striving not to inconvenience the public but in these extraordinary times, we ask for the public's patience and understanding. We will attempt to update the public through our website and Facebook page.
Stay healthy and Mashpee strong!

Due to the unusual circumstances which we now live in as a result of the coronavirus, otherwise known as COVID-19, the Town of Mashpee has responded to Governor Baker's order issued on March 23, 2020 concerning the closing of various workplaces. With an emergency already declared at the local, state and federal levels, the severity of this pandemic must be taken into account and safeguards for the workplace and public health are critical. Unfortunately, on March 23, 2020 we received the news that Mashpee has two confirmed cases.
