Santuit Pond Cyanobacteria Bloom

A cyanobacteria bloom has appeared on the surface of Santuit Pond.  Out of an abundance of caution and in accordance with the Bathing Beach Regulations, the pond has been posted with the State Department of Public Health cyanobacteria signs notifying the public of no swimming and to keep pets away from consuming the surface water.  The Conservation Commission will post signs on the trail heads and we will post at the bathing beach access areas.
