Housing Production Plan Update 2023-2024
The Town of Mashpee Affordable Housing Committee and the Mashpee Planning Department have launched its efforts to update the Mashpee Housing Production Plan. Efforts to update the plan are made possible with grant funding from the Mashpee Community Preservation Committee and the Cape Cod Commission District Local Technical Assistance funding. The purpose of this page is to provide the Mashpee Community with ongoing community engagement efforts and opportunities to make your voice heard relative to Mashpee's housing needs and the goals and strategies the plan should prioritize to meet those needs. The Town has contracted with Barrett Planning Group to assist with this effort.

| 2023 Engagement Plan | With assistance from Barrett Planning Group the Affordable Housing Committee has developed a community engagement plan to better understand housing needs in Mashpee and to develop the goals and strategies to address them. Please refer to this document for a general timeline of events and opportunities for you to participate. Generally, we will be hosting two in-person workshops, a virtual workshop, and a survey. |

After the closure of the public comment period and evaluation of comments received the final draft of the Housing Production Plan is available for review below. The Planning Department hopes the Planning Board and Select Boards will be able to meet jointly in the month of June to adopt this final plan as presented. If the details of these meetings are made available this webpage will be updated.
