5. Sewer Project by Phase
PHASE 1 - Currently in the construction phase. It is anticipated that Phase 1 will be completed by the end of 2024 with homes beginning to connect early in 2025. Click on the links below to see the latest map and approved property list.

PHASE 2 - Currently in the design phase. Funding for Phase 2 needs approval at the May 6, 2024 Town meeting. If it passes, the engineers will need to provide the final design plans before it can go out to bid. Upon selection, it will take a minimum of 4-6 weeks to execute a contract. A rough estimate for when construction for Phase 2 would potentially begin is early spring of 2025. Click on the links below to see the latest map and approved property list.

FUTURE PHASES - It is important to note that this is a 20 year adaptive plan. Future phases will be adapted based on the nitrogen reduction from prior sewer phases and other nitrogen reducing programs (i.e., aquaculture). Therefore, the Town will need to evaluate the progress toward meeting the nitrogen reduction goals after each phase to determine how much more work is to be done and, if necessary, identify the area(s) that would provide the most relief.
